Welcome to High Impact K9 Training. By booking services, enrolling a dog in training, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to protect our clients, trainers, and dogs while ensuring clear expectations for training outcomes.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling services with High Impact K9 Training, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all services including but not limited to:

-Board and Train programs

-Puppy training

-Behavior modification programs

-Protection dog training

-Service dog training

-Online and phone consultations

High Impact K9 Training reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

2. Dog Eligibility Requirements

Clients agree that their dog:

-Is current on all required vaccinations including Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella (if applicable)

-Is in good general health

-Is free of contagious illnesses, parasites, or infections

-Has disclosed any bite history, aggression, behavioral concerns, or medical conditions

Failure to disclose known behavioral issues or bite history may result in immediate removal from training without refund.

3. Training Philosophy and Methods

High Impact K9 Training utilizes balanced training methods, which may include:

-Reward-based training

-Marker training

-Environmental rewards

-Training tools such as slip leads, prong collars, remote collars, or other training equipment when appropriate

All tools are used humanely and responsibly by experienced trainers.

By enrolling in services, the client acknowledges and consents to the use of appropriate training tools when necessary for safety and training effectiveness.

4. Training Results Disclaimer

Dog training is not an exact science. Results depend on multiple factors including:

-The dog’s temperament

-Genetics

-Age and developmental stage

-Consistency in the home environment

-Owner follow-through

High Impact K9 Training does not guarantee specific behavioral outcomes, including but not limited to:

-Off-leash reliability

-Elimination of aggression

-Elimination of reactivity

-Behavior changes in uncontrolled environments

Client participation and continued reinforcement of training are critical to long-term success.

5. Owner Responsibility

The client agrees to:

-Follow all trainer instructions and homework assignments

-Maintain consistency in commands and expectations

-Use training tools as instructed

-Attend scheduled follow-up sessions when applicable

Failure to maintain training protocols may significantly impact results.

6. Board and Train Programs

For dogs enrolled in board and train programs:

-Dogs will stay in the care of High Impact K9 Training trainers.

-Dogs will receive structured daily training and care.

Clients understand that:

-Training environments include exposure to new dogs, people, environments, and stimuli

-Minor injuries such as scratches, abrasions, or minor illnesses may occur in normal training environments

High Impact K9 Training will notify the owner of any medical concerns.

7. Veterinary Care

If a dog becomes ill or injured while in training:

-High Impact K9 Training may seek veterinary care if deemed necessary

-The owner is financially responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred

-Every effort will be made to contact the owner prior to treatment unless immediate care is required

8. Aggression and Behavioral Risks

Dogs exhibiting aggressive or dangerous behavior may present risks.

By enrolling in training, the client acknowledges that:

-Dogs may bite or injure people or animals

-Behavior modification carries inherent risk

-Safety protocols will be followed, but incidents can still occur

Clients assume responsibility for their dog’s behavior both during and after training.

9. Payment Policy

Payment terms are as follows:

-Full payment or deposit may be required to reserve training dates.

-Payment plans must be completed according to agreed schedules.

-Failure to complete payment may result in suspension of services.

All sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing.

10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Consultations and Evaluations:

-A minimum of 24–48 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Board and Train Programs:

-Deposits are non-refundable but transferable depending on circumstances.

Failure to provide proper notice may result in forfeiture of the session or deposit.

11. Limitation of Liability

High Impact K9 Training and its trainers shall not be held liable for:

-Injuries caused by a dog during or after training

-Damage to property caused by a dog

-Behavioral relapse following completion of training

-Injuries resulting from misuse of training tools

By participating in services, clients agree to release and hold harmless High Impact K9 Training from claims, damages, or liability.

12. Media Release

Clients grant permission for High Impact K9 Training to use photos or videos of their dog for:

-Training documentation

-Social media

-Marketing materials

-Educational content

Clients may request exclusion from media use by submitting written notice.

13. Communication Policy

High Impact K9 Training may communicate with clients through:

-Phone calls

-Email

-SMS/text messaging

Message and data rates may apply depending on the client’s carrier.

Clients may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP.

SMS Use Cases

By providing your phone number to High Impact K9 Training, you consent to receive SMS (text) messages related to your interaction with our business. These messages may include, but are not limited to:

-Appointment confirmations and reminders

-Updates regarding scheduled training sessions

Carrier Liability Disclaimer
